East Charlotte Tractor Parade!

Vibing while living in Charlotte, Vermont is so easy! There is so much beauty right here in my backyard, and so many vibes to spread in this community which is becoming home. The same weekend of my previous post was also the East Charlotte Tractor Parade. Having just completed its eighth annual year, this is now undoubtedly my new favorite Vermont event. Of course, soon it will be a Top Ten Fall Event in Vermont and written about more than it should and everyone will go and then it won't be my favorite anymore. Such the catch 22 of the world of public relations in Vermont - wanting to tell the untold stories, but not wanting too many people to know about it. Luckily for the time being the Vermont Vibes Blog is read by a very eclectic niche audience of personal friends, and like-minded Vermonters and flatlanders committed to the concept of Vibing! I guess I should be glad Pontiac hasn't picked up on my blog yet, even though I have informed them - alas, another corporate giant who misses the point - at least their car rocks!

Anyway....back to the East Charlotte Tractor Parade. The parade is the child of the awesome Carrie Spear - owner of Spear's Corner Store where folks gather for the festivities the second Sunday in October. Carrie and a group of her friends and volunteers put on this fabulous fall event which was started on the foundation of being a celebration of the harvest and the farmers and tractors that do so much work for that harvest. Now bringing folks from near and far with tractors big and small, bare-boned and parade-esque; the East Charlotte Tractor Parade is a beautiful example of Vermonters all vibing together - on this occasion, to the hum of a tractor!

The Mitch and I had the privilege of having our friends Kathleen, Stew, and their little one Cameron as good company for tractors as you can see below!

Looks like fun! We will add it to the Vermont Vacation Guide, but here is the correct link for the Vermont Top Ten Events page:
